The only good things to come out of Alabama are interstates 20 and 65.

That's 2 more than N.Y.

What does a tornado and a divorce in Alabama have in common?
Some one will lose a mobile home.

I dunno, I kinda like the big signs on I81 and I90 that says "Welcome to Pennsylvania". The one on the other end that points into Massachusetts I'm not so fond of.

Last time I was in Cali I head to tilt my head over each time I read a road sign because they all leaned to the left.

This comes to us from the state where they take cover from tornados by getting in the basement of their outhouse.

True story here in light of Sipowicz statement of "misspelled sign" I contracted with a heavy haul truck company out of Baton Rouge, La several years ago. Their best big rig driver was an older Cajun man who spoke little English mostly Arcadic French.

He got lost in Alexanderia, La one day called dispatch. He stated the roads are all messed up and the signs all point him to Detroit and he knows that is north and he wants to go south. Dispatch told him that was not for Detroit was a Detour sign

Maybe Interstate 10 also, which goes from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, and includes Alabama and lot of the other members of this fine forum states of residence!

Maybe one of his escape routes, but he can only go east for more than a short distance!

Don't forget about I-85... takes you from the "A" state to Georgia jes fine... and doubles as the speed limit warning (minimum, that is.)

Don't kid yourself, the Rep was playing to his voters. All he really cares about is getting reelected. The honorable representative could care less.
