Uncle Mikes grips for an N-frame?

I don't think UM (or Butler Creek) ever made N-frame grips -- only J and K/L frame.

You and me both. I've long wished for a set. Since they're supposedly licensed from Craig Spegel designs, you'd think you could get one in wood from Craig Spegel. But all the Spegel grips I've seen have an open backstrap instead of the preferable (to me) closed design of the Uncle Mike's.

I'd be interested to know what you end up with. I use Pachmayr Presentation or Gripper models myself.

I like the pack presentations (the grippers tend to not fill my hand), but the grip screw is in exactly the wrong place on the current model for tuned mainsprings - the old ones work fine. But - nothing works as well with a speedloader as the Uncle Mikes, nor does anything fit my hand as well. It's my understanding that Spigel and UM got into a beef about something, hence UM doesn't make the K/L frame grips (other than the small gripper things that may not be Spigel designs) which is a real pain for those of us who love 'em.

I wish they were available for the N frame too. They are very comfortable to use. I know they also made them for the Ruger Redhawk at one time. I was shooting this one today with some seriously stout loads (305 WFN GC @ 1430 FPS), and these grips made it a piece of cake to do-

That is a great pity, I would also have liked Uncle Mike's. I know it's an outdated thread but maybe something has since come up... here's hoping.
