I am looking at a pair online for a new 617 & they are in a box that says Mod.59006, but the sellar says they are actually the Mod. 59012.
In my research, I have heard that folks are putting the Uncle Mike "Combats' on their Guns.
I just want to get the shortest length UM RB Grips for my 617. Maybe some of you that can remember numbers real well can advise me if the 59012 is the corect grip that I want.
I have all my J Frame Snubs outfitted with the UM Boot Grips & I really like them. They also don't seem to let moisture build up as bad under the grip as a wood grip can for pocket carry, although I won't be Pocket Carrying this 617, that's for sure, lol.
This is my second 617. I lost a 1988 no dash in a fire. Still sick to my stomach about that little incident. That thing would shoot quarter sized groups all day long from a rest at about 20yrds with decent ammo. Hope this one will shoot good as well.
