Unfinished SAT..?

Just got this SAT today...it is an unfinished tool from Smith & Wesson. Has any one else ever gotten one like this. I started shooting back in the 70's and have never seen or heard of this one..unique to say the least!!

S&W usually get those SATs from vendors. That one missed final inspection, obviously, giving you a unique oddity. ( Don't let Club Gun Fan - Don Mundell _ try to tell you it's copy of the key to the Executive Rest Room and try to trade you one of D.B. Wesson's earrings ! ) Ed.

They were made in house, I know retired employees the made SAT's. I have a couple. They are neat, but not rare. I paid $15.00 for mine.
