Personally I stay away from nickel guns. i owned one once, and the nickel was defective from the Colt factory. Brought it back for refund. i think the price point is a bit high. Within the last 6 mos, i bought a 19-4 pristine blued NIB, 3T, with tools and docs for over 20% less than the gun in question. Since i will not pay for nickel, IMHO the only thing going for this piece is the fact that it is a 19, and it is not used. I would value the gun at no more than 700.00, and that might be a stretch, because I would probably look to have the cylinder renickeled, and then I have too much into a gun with no collector value
