Unimproveable tings

I gotta disagree with the WSJ list,,
Who wears a watch at all any more,,?? obsolete.

That knife went obsolete in my home when we got our first ceramic knife.

I do not drink wine,, I wonder if that fancy glass would enhance my Diet Coke experience??

Denim? Other than shorts, I haven't worn denim since I discovered rip-stop.

99% chance they do not offer those fancy shoes in my size (14M)

Give me 5 minutes with the chair,, before I pass judgement. :D

Now,, the cartridge,, THAT is perfection,,, all we can argue is,,, WHICH ONE!!??

I still wear my Citizen watch every day and it's a LOT more accurate then any Rolex I'm familiar plus it's solar powered. Unimprovable? My vote would go for the original Winchester Model 70 hunting rifle as still the ultimate bolt action gun.

Caj, a very good question.

My thoughts on perfection; in no particular order, except for number one:
1) Wife (if she's reading this; just kidding honey!) :)
2) Tall stories at deer camp
3) Pre-1974 cars
4) Nashville (Grand Ole Opry)
5) A Strong work ethic (intangable)
6) Harleys
7) The Rhetoric and Poetics of Artistotle
8) Colt SAA
9) the .44 Magnum
10) the Green Bay Packers

More in line with the WSJ:

1) Waterford Crystal
2) Manolo Blahnik's (for wife)
3) Buck knife
4) Split bamboo fly rod
5) The cast iron pan. Rhetorically, did you know you can grill a dessert cake and cold smoke with applewood or cherry? Grilled pineapple mixed cake and BBQ. Life is good. :)

Wife that mows the yard with a smile on her face.

I would like to see a closer shot of Phil’s wife just to confirm that she’s actually smiling!
Trust but Verify!
I do wear Demin, wearing Wranglers right now.
I do drink wine.
Usually 3 buck Chuck in a small regular glass.
I do have a gold President Rolex; usually don’t wear it.
I look like a Farmer,
But I’m a Lover!

This article is a good start what are some other things???
The Unimprovable Awards: Celebrating 6 Perfect Things - WSJ

First thing I can come up with is the contained cartridge. Pretty hard to beat the basic self contained cartridge.

I disagree on the shoes part as 97% of all the shoes in the world are made in china==carp. If and WHEN they stop using plastic-instead of rubber---to cushin the inside foor areas with-then maybe ill change my opinions.

I'd say blue jeans. Sweat pants tried to dethrone them years ago, but it couldn't happen.
