I don't like the looks of a lot of people, then when I see their gun, I really don't like them. But, if they are not discharging the weapon, I suppose they are legal. (Not knowing if they are a felon.) I've always known driving is a privilege, owning a gun is a right, but self preservation is the first law of human nature. I plan to obey the law. As far as the OP, I agree, sadly. These people are pulling our IQs down just by using our air. I need to stop now and "Post Quick Reply" while I still have this privilege.

Does he make the same claim about other kinds of property? He is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
I can sympathize with Cage's position. I see a lot of people out and about that I hope don't have guns. But in the grand scheme of things, I would rather risk a few idiots with guns than the jack boot of government.

Several months ago, I was on travel for work in a Western state, in a town that looked a little -- ahem! -- "sketchy"; lots of homeless people...graffiti...trash and debris...etc.
I pulled into a convenience store parking lot, and a guy walked out of the store who looked even sketchier than the area at large. And sticking out of the right front pocket of his jeans was the extended magazine of the pistol that was in his pocket...
He didn't say or do anything overtly threatening, so I figured he was probably abiding by the law...but I remember thinking I was happy not to be a cop in that town!
He was released because nothing he did was against the law. Why make him hire a lawyer? Pretty weak trolling for having had a whole year to come up with something.

Not everyone who pipes up with something most disagree with is trolling. I am an introvert by nature, so lurking works form me. I'm here because I like some of the shooting sports and have more than a few Smiths.
When I was in a prosecutor's office (a while ago), returning a firearm was based on the Sherriff's department policy. They did not consider the Constitution unless it was demanded of them (ie. a lawyer made an argument).

I've lived in large cities, including many places in Chicago...don't recall fond memories of any.
Where I live, and have since about 1980, if you hear someone wildly unload multiple rounds it just means that they didn't hit the deer, turkey, or bear on the first shot...outside of that it's just normal target practice.

Pretty sad when alleged prosecutors and police chiefs think their policy trumps the Constitution and the law. Sounds like they know they are violating the law and only comply when confronted.
