Talked to Dan last night and all things considering, he is doing pretty good.
He has started receiving his SSDI so that's good.
Through the generosity of this forum and the Ruger forum he has been able to keep his rent paid, the lights on, and his pantry stocked. He was also able to buy a beater $400.00 car to ensure he is able to make it to his dialysis appointments. He is not really supposed to be driving, but the person that has been taking him has proved to be less than reliable.
He was pleasantly suprised by Kanewpaddle's visit and said that did a lot to perk him up.
I personally want to thank all who helped whether it was monetarily or spiritually. In the chaos that is our world today it is gratifying to see communities pitch in tho help those in need.
May the Karma come back to you 10 fold.
