UPDATED 01/13/23 - - SCORED A PRISTINE M19 2 1/2" RB BY SURPRISE

I told him my collection was pretty complete but that there was room for a M19 blued 2 1/2" RB revolver in pristine condition.

This was a model that I wasn't really very interested in back in the mid 1970's as I had so many similar versions. It was too heavy for EDC and to short for most target shooting I was doing but now I just wanted one because..... Now they are hard to find in the condition I like.

This is me to a tee! Great find, I hope to do the same (fill the hole in my collection) one day.

Persistence pays off and NEVER settle for less than you want! I paid dearly for this one in the condition it is in, however by next week I will have forgotten about the price and will still have the M19! :D

Me too. Never could see any sense in a 2-1/2” .357 Magnum. Of course eventually one came along that overpowered my sense of reason. :D Nice revolver, OP. Happy to know you’re getting some use out of it. :)

My sense of reason has been overpowered repeatedly over the years. But in an attempt to provide myself justification, a short 357 mag k-frame with mid range loads is controllable and accurate. Especially with bantam rubbers. Got this back when $350 was top dollar (my budget) for used.
