UpLula 1911 Inserts Mod for Shield

I filed one of the 1911 inserts for the MagLula UpLula in order to center the Shield mags. Works for 9 and the 45.

I got a Maglula Uplula for my 45 Shield. It works great for me, with no insert necessary.

Thanks for posting. I wasn't aware of the inserts, my old Uplula works fine with my 1911 mags as is, but I may have to check on those.

Yes... When used correctly, the UpLula auto-centers Single-Stack and Double/Stagger-Stack mags without the need of any kind of Insert/Shim.

I use the UpLula for anything From .380 - .45 , Double or Single.
That's how UpLula got it's name Universal Pistol Lula.

I've been using my UpLula on all types of mags w/o any inserts, including Shields 40 & 45.

I got the universal model. Works great with the full size M&P and the Shield. Fantastic loader.

Agree the stand alone UpLula functions with single-stack mags. However the added stability the insert provides makes it much easier for my wife to utilize. Thanks or the tip!
