I got lucky and found 335 round magazines for $30 apiece at a local gun shop
335 rd magazine? Wow, must be quite long!

I've made several attempts to call S&W about this, and have yet to reach an actual person. But Pro-Mag filled our order so no big deal.
I'm just sitting here enjoying the whole thing with my feet up.
When I buy any weapon,I ALWAYS buy everything I want for it,with it. When I bought my 15-22 I also pulled 12-25 round mags off the wall (there was plenty left) and 8-10 round"shorties"(I wiped those out). That was back when everything was selling "normally". Bought a red dot,got a great deal on a scope and a boat load of different 22's. I do like keeping my 22 "stash" rather overly higher than "normal" people. Easy...
Wow.. my advice to you would be, don't open the thread if it bothers you THAT much. It's THAT easy!
Happy shooting!

I too do the same thing... I try to get everything i will ever need at time of purchase.
That's got to be one of the few upsides to living in the boonies. Unfortunately for me, I live in a metroplex with more people(2.3 million in Orlando as opposed to 3.2 million in all of Iowa) sharing the same interest in weapons than the total population of a 100 mile radius of you. I mean no offense, btw. I actually had to have my dad find ammo for me, as his little hick town sells it in the local hardware store and bait shop and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Some people spend way too much time on this site. To the point where they complain about a quality of a post or the actions of the poster. Ease up and enjoy this forum what it is.
To the OP, maybe use the extra cash for some accessories for your 15-22?
To put it simply, right now, or even in the foreseeable future, you aren't going to save any $ by buying used. I recommend getting on the back-order list here for now. Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Polymer Mag, 25 Rd | Streichers Police Equipment
You obviously didn't read the whole thread.
