Thinking about buying, is this a dumb move or what ? I would only use this gun as a nightstand piece and shoot maybe 50 rds a month. What say folks, yea or nay ?

As far as how much you shoot it, you can shoot a Sigma all you want; they are sturdy.
Don't know about prices in IL? Around here that's a touch high for used unless some goodies come with it.
