Mine comes from one of my CLEET instructors, John Boren.

The year was 1990 and Glocks were just starting to show up in cops' holsters. Mr. Boren taught us the "Custody Control" (self defense) part of the academy and his favorite saying was...

"If you can't knock 'em down...Glock 'em down!"

The motto just kinda stuck. ;)

I probably couldn't remember my real name at the time. Actually, it's part of a town name and a number that I can remember.

I just admired the cop on Hills Street Blues with a simple J frame whose name was Sipowicz

I like no dash smiths.

I also like that saying about glocking em down!

I was shooting a lot of bowling pin matches when I got on the Net.
My pin load then, and my steel plate, and plinking load, since used either a 230 grain LRN or a 230 grain hardball bullet.
So...

I'd have ACP230 as a vanity plate if I was less cheap and more vain.

My name is merril and tried to come up with something that rhymed with it. Maybe I should have used sterile or merril the barrel?

My real name was already taken so i used Cyrano from the size of my nose. Unfortunately Ipm not a swordsman at all, unlike Edmond Rostand's character, nor am I as good a philosopher as the historical Cyrano de Bergerac.

After losing everything in the Depression of 1894, my Great grandfather a CW veteran climbed the golden staircase into the Klondike and found enough gold to reestablish himself in a geed business. He was never cured completely of the gold bug and after he turned the business over to his son, worked a claim in the Cascade Mountains.

Well Id be lying if I said the name didnt come from one certain drunken party event but it really stuck after I built my 98 ford ranger that is fully air bagged. It became the t-baggin98:cool:

Mine came from my dog, OKK's Venus Tyra Winnieferd...Aka "Winnie" one of the two German Wirehaired Pointers that I share my home with.
