"Qball" is my "Cowboy Action Shooting" alias.
And my hairstyle

I had to think about that for a second, "What's a Qball hairstyle". Then it dawned me.


Oh, I do have an old nickname that some people still call me. Back in the days of "Lost In Space" people called me "Dr. Zachary Smith". 'Zack' stuck. I even named my son 'Zachary'.

The Old TexMex is a railroad, founded 1881. First U.S.-Mexico rail link. A little line that ran from the Gulf of Mexico (Corpus Christi) to Nuevo Laredo and on in to Mexico. The first railroad to dieselize (convert from steam).
Texas Rangers and Texas Mexican Railroad Police watched over that run through the brush country for many years. Owned now by Kansas City Southern, I believe....

The opportunity to pay a small homage to the late, great humorist Bro. Dave Gardner is a plus, too.

After joining here I discovered that another Dave Keith had established a great reputation as a holster maker. No matter how common a name may be, it is still a little strange to hear of another person by the same name.

I've always been into custom cars from building the models when I was a kid to drawing custom cars and dreaming of having a custom car shop as I got older. When I was in middle school, or high school, I needed a name for my AIM (anyone remember that? ) I came up with CustomChevyGuy. I use it on most of my forums..

(A suburb of Chicago) I was well known as being a bit unpredictable, so one day, at a street party, in the neighborhood, one of the seniors on the block, a person I respect very much, gave me the nick name "Johnny The Flake".
