Using Grease

Go ahead and flame me now, but I have been using 5W30 Mobil 1 as my gun lube.

I was gonna use Mobil 1, but I thought why not use the same oil that my VW Passat TDI uses? VW goes 10k miles between oil changes! So I have Castrol synthetic oil, and a can of Peak Synthetic grease.

Now as long as I dont spill the oil or lose the can of grease, I will have smooth operation of all my guns as long as I am shooting, and then hand it down to who ever gets my collection.

btw, for me the oil and grease keep most of the cleaning, simple and easy as a wipe down and boresnake.

yeah, 10,000 miles between oil changes.

Drop the Castrol and grab some Rotella T6. Not even oil shearing Kawi Brute 750 tears that oil up and it's Diesel approved.
