Using Silver as payment question

It's a trade. If you are willing to accept silver, just need to work out acceptable terms. Silver below spot would interest me. In 50 years, I've traded a tractor for firearms, livestock for firearms, gun for a deck on my house. Just remembered, rifle and ammo for tires for my truck .

Recently my local Dealer showed me a ‘Gold Chain’ that a dude got a hell of a deal on.
Bought it at a gas station at night from a guy who needed money and was willing sell cheap the only thing of value he had.
Looked like Brass to me.
He put it on that Magic Testing Machine and it took no time to start bling Red!

With pre 1965 90% silver US coins it's all about the troy weight and not the number of coins.Coins that are in uncirculated condition will weigh more than ones that were in circulation(worn).Culls are coins where the date no longer is visible due to wear but sill have value in their weight.Only buy bullion coins buy troy weight.
There's a lot of fake 1oz American Silver Eagles from China so have a good scale, caliper and know what to look for.Silver coins have a ring to them.
Buying legal US tender should not be taxed.
There are small silver and gold bars usually one ounce or less that are in assay(a sealed plastic container often with a serial number for authentication.Naturally gold and silver in assay is more expensive but a safer buy.

Buy all the silver you can afford/feel comfortable . The #1 country CHINA quit exporting silver and has started buying up all the mines in the world. It might not be today or tomorrow but the Comex will not be able to fulfill their contacts physically. The banks are now buying all the Gold/Silver they can without creating a panic. JMHO
