Last fall I started shooting weekly with a group of guys that all shoot IDPA matches. So naturally after shooting with them all winter running practice stages, when the first match came up two weeks ago I was eager to do it. I used my M&P 45 in the ssp unclassified group and ended up with the best time of the group.

here is a video of my slow *** running (relative) one of the stages.

also ran a carbine trail that I used my M&P 15 sport in

Shot a classifier match Saturday, classified sharpshooter with the M&P 45 and marksman with the 1911. So I'm stoked for the rest of the summer!

Looks like you are having a good time shooting. The 1911 should be a good addition also.

Your next purchase needs to be a 686SSR and some Safariland Comp III speedloaders. North Mountain Carriers, and a Lobo Pancake holster. SSR can stand another new shooter. You can then shoot 3 entries.

We had a Steel Challenge match Saturday. I ran my 1911 Colt Custom, my 610, and my 64. Had a great time.

We shoot an Outlaw IDPA match one month and a Steel Challenge match the next. Lots of fun. We also shoot a 3 gun every month.

I'm thinking my next gun will be a revolver, just wanted the 1911 a little more so the revolver will have to wait until I build up some more play money haha.

Revolver is the most fun in IDPA, USPSA, and Steel Challenge.

Great looking pair! I shoot my M&P45 in CDP and then switch to my M&P9 for SSP. I like it since I can use the same holster for both the only think I have to swap out is the mag pouches. I started out using my Springfield 1911 but the call of the dark side was strong and I switched to Glock and now to the M&P and I think I have found the pistols I was meant to shoot from the beginning. I've just picked up my 3rd M&P and I think I'm going to be on the looking for an M&P40 to round the collection out
