USPSA 9mm Target Champion/9mm Limited

Did my second USPSA match with my 1994 Wischo 9mm Target Champion. I was the only shooter in two matches that didn't have a red dot. Behind the times yes. But I love this gun.

How many folks were there and was there even a single person other than you that recognized or had ever even heard if the hardware you were running?

I would be genuinely surprised if anyone knew what a gem you had on the line.

I agree that carry optics are or are becoming the most popular divisions in USPSA and IDPA. I shoot production div and it's quite small in comparison to CO and limited.

While I have an optic, I've yet to master it- I haven't trained with it- and my muscle memory is for irons. As such I shoot production and SSP divisions and enjoy myself

There was 20 of us and a few people had a couple questions about it. Me being new to USPSA, I'm in the listening portion still so I didn't want to give people an earful when they asked. I just summed it up as a "rare vintage performance Center 5906" . I only had 5 misses in 5 stages, so I was happy with the day. I'm looking forward to improving my skills and getting this gun out more.

The trigger breaks at 2.5 pounds and is pre travel and over travel adjustable.

This is my first season. The atmosphere is great. But I don't like the extreme fast pace of the whole thing. Spending a whole day out to shoot for about two minutes doesn't do it for me.

Wife and I both participate in USPSA as well as Steel Challenge. She shoots PCC as well as myself except when I decide to shoot single stack major. We are having a lot of fun and she is quite the shooter. Kicking my butt in .22 RFO in steel challenge!
