I took my long neglected M&P v1 from the bowels of my safe for a quick spin yesterday. My M&P is kitted with an APEX sear and has a Vortex Venom RDS mounted on a dovetail mount.
I've not shot it in several years for a variety of reasons, but before I mounted the RDS, it was my main IDPA gun. I had not shot it w/ the RDS.
Shooting at an ipsc target ~50ft, I routinely hit the head and A zones with ease. Was reminded at how easy it was to shoot this gun, especially now w/ the RDS. A fun shooting session.
I'm focused on my using my 625 in preparation for a sanctioned match this spring, but afterwards may shoot the M&P.
