I would think that conceal carry holders have this thing called a TV. And that they are able to get local news channels. Therefore those conceal carry holders will have already been informed as to what is going on. So there is no need for asking for their personal information.

I had not heard this. FOUL doesn't begin to describe theis so-called request. They are already doing a job on our out going Gov., afraid he will make a WH bid. He would sure get a lot of votes around here. The request is bogus BS--

As a registered Independent of long standing, I am not surprised by anything proposed by most career politicians. Almost to a person they are self-serving and will pander to their local base regardless of what is in the best interest of the nation. It takes a person of monumental integrity it seems, to attend to their sworn duty regardless of the impact on their future membership in the ultimate power clubs of the U.S. House and Senate. Just MHO.

Ultimately this is why the board here is opposed to the politics thing though... its not a red or blue thing, its a 2nd Amendment thing, red or blue doesn't matter, you're either with us on 2nd Amendment rights or against us, and there are plenty of reds and blues who are with us, and plenty against. Things are almost never as simple as black and white, red and blue.
