Youngkin proved his mettle today.

The links to that website get corrupted somewhere along the line. Just copy the URL into the address bar and edit it.

Glenn Youngkin is an elected official who backs up his words with action regardless of their effect on his likelihood of re-election.

It's refreshing.

Virginia governors can only serve one four year term at a time, but can serve a total of two terms.

I'm hoping he will run for the Senate in the future.

No beer, but I did meet the Guv at the Galax Old Time Fiddler's Convention last summer. :)

From '75 to '79 I made my annual pilgrimages to the Union Grove Fiddlers Convention in Union Grove, NC and the Galax Fiddlers Convention in your stompin' grounds. Absurdly fun!

Thanks for the memory jog.

A man of his word. He is stymied by the majority liberal legislators but is using his veto pen to make sure the Commonwealth does not go backwards to the restrictions placed on firearms by the McAuliffe crew and especially Mark Herring who served as Attorney General in a couple of liberal anti-gun Administrations. I don't own any "assault weapons" but the 5 day waiting period is a typical blue state requirement.

You can tell he's just an average Joe like us...his shirt sleeves are rolled up. We all should be lucky to have a governor like him. No waiting period in PA. (Maybe I shouldn't give our elected officials any ideas.)

You notice that he's not wearing a necktie. :D

... an off-color attorney joke, but applicable to politicians. :D

I'll have to admit that I was sweating it that one or two of them would get through but our man in office did the right thing and basically shut the anti's down this time. We gun owners here have to make sure this will continue. BTW, if any of you want to call and thank him here is the no. to call: 804-786-2211 option 2. :)
