Value 19-4 ?

Looking at a 19-4 excellant condition, K 357mag. with holster, orginal wood grips , asking 525 local, no shipping. Value?

If it's in excellent condition that's a good deal but not great right now. I mean in my mind it's near the top of the market at least around here. They don't make them like that anymore so if you like it then buy it.

A great gun, but sounds a little high to me. What kind of holster, and was it carried a lot in it? Holster wear? The original box, tools, etc add value to the deal. But as fyimo said, they don't make them like that anymore, and next year they might be more expensive. You could look on a site like Gunbroker to see what the average selling price is. Good luck.

Shooter grade around here is going for $400 to $450 at best.

You don't mention bbl length. If it's a 2 1/2",then that's a pretty good price.

I know what I said above but yesterday I was at my local gun pusher and he wanted ro sell me a 19-5 with 4 inch barrel for $595. The gun was in excellent condition with all the goodies and he felt that he had priced it right. I told that it's not P&R so I wasn't interested but I think $525 for the one above is closer to a good deal then this one and ceratinaly not over proced.

I have a 19-4 without a box or tools etc, you couldnt have mine for that price. It's a GREAT revo. If you like it and can swing it? Buy it and dont look back. When all is said and done you will be happy if you were in the market for such a gun to start with. JMHO, John

I'd check around as price ranges vary by region. But I'd jump at the chance to have a Model-19 again. They are scarce to the point of nonexistence around here these days. Geez, I wish I still had mine.

I just bought (1 month ago) a blued LNIB 6" 19-4 for $595. For where I live, I thought was a decent deal. The gun really is LNIB, not fired since factory; nice find...

The gun came from a dealer that bought an estate collection from a guy that collected a bunch of J and K frames. He bought them back in the day, and just put them into his vault, they were all LNIB 'unfired,' it was a very nice collection...

So, I think the one you are looking at is probably a fair price. Of course, tough to say without seeing the condition, and barrel length.

It all depends on the exact condtion. The holster could be worth $50 or so, again, depending on who made it and its condition.

It would be nice to know the barrel length, but assuming excellent condition and a 4" barrel, that would be a decent price in my area.
