First off, thanks to all for their input and offers. This is a great forum (along with Sigforum). After it looking as though the extended warranty wouldn't help, fate smiled. The bill came in a good bit less than first estimated (still 2900 + the tranny controller - cost not shown, as Dodge warranty item). With much help from my local Dodge/Chrysler dealer, the extended warranty agreed to cover, minus my deductible $100). They had to send someone out to examine everything and review service records. They couldn't come up with anything that I had done wrong.

Had to replace wiring harness, ABS controller and auto trans controller (latter under Dodge power train 7/70). No one can say what happened to cause wiring problem.

This is our only vehicle, a Dodge minivan handicap conversion, so my wife can drive her wheelchair in and out on the ramp and lowered floor. Otherwise, she would be at home all the time. We are both retired now, but still keep our CCWs in order.

So, didn't have to sell any goodies, after all. Looked bad there for a few days.

However, S&W nuts, don't lose hope. I have had an itch for quite a while for a HK P7M8. If that itch continues, it is likely that this and my Walther (Interarms) S/S PPK will go on the block to help fund. Probably part out in that case.

Thanks again for your input and support.

Carl

Unexpected car repair bill of large magnitude has me scrambling. May have to sell this stuff, but it is at bottom of list after cameras and lenses.

625-3 s/n BEN00xx 3" no box or papers

The holsters - one is pancake by Strong (?), the other is a Bianchi Cyclone cross draw.

Grips are Hogue monogrip, S&W combats, and Spegel S++ boot grips.

Demooner in case as from Dillon plus a deluxe moon clip tool to load/unload.

40+ moon clips, most unused.

I think 700-800 is much higher than it would sell for in this area. You don't get a lot of value for the other goodies. You're looking at $575 to $650 maybe.

I want to say that there was a special run of 3" guns by Lew Horton in the last 24 months. I got a quote from my dealer that was in the 700s new (can't remember if it was the low 700s or high 700s).

I don't know how far back the classifieds go but you could do a search for old listings.

I believe one was listed on here a while back for $675-700 and folks were in line to buy it. With a national market, even though around certain areas guns won't bring as much, when you have access to the entire US, the value is there.

Hi, For all of you that are not familiar with the 625 3" ..OMG these are probably my most favorite revolver ever made...great concealability....easy to shoot...If I did not have my ife having surgery and have to sell a revolver myself I would be buying yours..to make my 625 collection 3 instead of 2.....THEY ARE SO WORTH THE MONEY GUYS.... Last one I bought at the gun show was $500.00...With all of what you are selling I would say $700 is a reasonable price....

Value is alot higher if sold privately on the forum classified or Gunbroker. I could see getting $700 but no way will you see that through a local gunshop type trade/comission sale.

Please do not take it to a gun shop to sell, someone here will adopt it and give you a fair price.

As a fellow 3" nut I have to agree!
I see at least $200 worth of goodies and think $700 would be a very fair price.
Did I mention I was a nut for 3" S&W's?

Email sent to ch3.

i hate to see tough times befall a fellow wheel gun shooter, you do have at least 700-800 worth in the photo, but to find another sweet piece like that three inch pre lock is not real easy. seem like any factory 3 inch n frame a limited runs. hopefully all works out for you.

The gun itself with the Hogues is worth $700 if in excellent condition.

Those S&W combat grips are worth ~at least~ $100.

The Spegels are worth ~at least~ $75.

Holsters are maybe $35 each.

Etc. Etc.

I wouldn't sell it as a package.
