Exact condition and original stocks may influence these estimates. Also presumes a private party transaction, a dealer will give far less.

696 (no engineering change) - $8-900
657 4" (a scarce gun, only made for 2 years) - about the same as above
28-2 6" - ditto

Others may differ. Hope this is helpful.

In the world of .41 shooters the 4" 657 and 4" 657 Mountain Gun are Grail quality items....

Just saw a 657 MG sell yesterday for $1200 on GunBroker. The standard 4" usually isn't far behind.
