Nice buy for $150. You probably get it for about $100 less than it would sell for at most gun shows. It's a nice shooter, not a collectable. Ed.

I would say $300 would be the price in most parts of the country. It depends if the grips number to the gun.
By the way I love it when guys x out the last numbers on the description and then show a photo of the entire number.:D

That's awesome. I always pick out stuff like that on other threads.
I'm not used to the markings on the old revolvers. Totally overlooked that on that photo.
Good times.

Give it a good going-over with Mother's Mag Wheel Polish™ or something similar to maximize the beauty of the remaining nickel plating and minimize the damage it has had, and I would be surprised if it didn't get snapped up at $300 here in VA at least. My 6" nickel has more wear than that, and I wouldn't dream of taking less than $300 for it.

Bringing this one back from the dead.

I think I'm going to sell this one off and seeing as the last 3 years have brought so many drastic changes to the market I was going to see if $300 is still a fair value for this gun.
It's had 100 or so rounds through it since then but looks the same.

Thanks for the help guys!

Nice.

Has anybody tried one of the home nickel plating kits to repair small spots on one of these guns? Seems like one of the mini electro-plating or electroless nickel plating kits would work to fix these small flaking spots on these old revolvers.
