Had migraines when I was a kid and still get them sometimes, but I know how to dodge them (usually) now in my dotage. None of the vertigo stuff you have, though. Sorry to hear it, as I know how bad they can be - here's hoping that's the worst health issue you ever have.

Not any more. I do know about them though. Heck to be honest you can't hardly enjoy anything. Hope you get over the malady sometime soon..like tomorrow...today.

For the migraines I take Fiorinal and it works great. If I catch them early Excedrine Migraine works well.

Dizzy spells I take Mecclazine and a 1mg of Alprazalam to relax me.

I have had them since I was a kid so I know how you feel. They are debilitating.

Yeah, Fiorinal (a barbituate) works great. :)

When I was a kid, my parents thought they were sinus headaches, so all they gave me was a kid's dose decongestant. Good Lord. When I was 23 or so and a doc diagnosed what I'd been having since age 6 as migraines, I was a bit irritated with my folks. :)

I can mostly stave them off with caffeine these days - but when I dont . . . ! :o

If I catch it early I can use Excedrine Migraine. If not the Fiornal works great.

When the kaleidoscope starts I've got about 15 minutes before the timpani section kicks in.

Thank heavens for Norco.

The dizzy spells are the worst. The bed spins, sweating and throwing up oh and walking into things

I've had migraines for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of migraines. Used to get terrible attacks that lasted for days. Wished I was dead. They haven't been as bad or as frequent the last couple of years, no idea why. I find that if I take some Tylenol and lie down as soon as I feel one creeping up that they don't get as bad.

Try Excedrine Migraine works better then Tylenol. For bad migraines get a prescription for Fiorinal.
