Has anyone used VHT flame proof paint to finish an alloy frame.

I have a 908 with leprosy. Since it is a beater, I do not want to spend a lot of money to refinish it.

The VHT is a silica-ceramic header paint. It is supposed to withstand heat up to 2000 degrees.

It requires oven baking to cure.

I have done a few AR's in Cerakote and they came out fantastic. Cerakote is a ceramic based finish and wears like iron. I am not sure this is the coating you are looking at but if it is I give my seal of approval!
