I recently picked up a nice Victory model, which I posted on earlier. It is in .38 S&W, so I assume that it was one of the ones destined for the Lend/Lease program and England (fortunately it has no import marks.) According to the sages on this forum it probably left the factory around June-July 1943.

I was wondering what lanyard, holster, and pistol belt would be correct for this revolver. Any ideas on where I could find each and what they might cost? Also are there any other accessories that I could add to a display of this piece?

Thanks for your help.

If you check in the classified section, one of our forum members, m-1911, has lanyard loops for sale.

I ordered one and it looks great!

The answer to your question is: Depends where it went. Probably to Britain or one of the colonial countries, which then gives you quite a choice as to what accessories were available for the gun in WW2. Letter the gun, on the chance that a destination is given like Canada, Australia or So.Africe. That would narrow down the search somewhat for correct belts, holsters, etc. If it just went to the British Purchasing Commission, then the field is wide open. However adding a Brit, or colonial, web type holster & belt to the gun would be a possible choice as no one could say it would be incorrect.
