We had a lot of the "Victory" models come in the shop, and the chambers had been reamed to .38 S&Win .38 special length so that they could shoot .38 special ammo with a minimum of case splitting.
In fact we were hired by an importer to do that kind of reaming at one time.
Still have the reamer in my storage bin.
