I snagged a nice one today..it is in excellent condition..but the grips are the checkered silver medallion version and numbered..but not to this revolver. It is marked .38 S&W Special CTG
on the barrel which measures 5 inches from the cylinder. Made in USA stamped on right frame. The ordnace bomb and V 133147 stamped on butt frame, same number is on barrel, cylinder and extractor. Case colors are like new on trigger and hammer. When the cylinder is out an EP'd 20 is on the flat of the frame. The bore is excellent. This is the best condition Victory Model S&W I have found so far....but of course..the lanyard fixture is missing. It was priced at $275 in a pawn shop..but I got it for $225 OTD.

Coneten:
Nice catch. I think the barrel length is 4" as opposed to 5. Stocks are post '68 magnas. Original would be smooth walnut which you can grab several places reasonably.
