I just picked up a Victory, SN# V4362XX.
There are six "BNP" stamps with a crown image stamped on the cylinder. No other British markings.
It's in nickle (which I suspect was not original) and chambered in .38 S&W. It came with a set of hokey "real imitation" stag grips.
No lanyard ring. There is a circular mark on the butt where the ring usually goes, so I figured it was probably plugged. But, when I removed the grips, the small hole where the lanyard pin goes was never drilled through the frame, only part way.
Does this make any sense?
