Victory Parkerizing

I have a Navy marked victory that has a major side plate issue and had to be re-fit. I am going to parkerize it with a kit I bought. I have read and watched many videos but I have a few questions.
Do you parkerize the ejector rod and knob? What about the ejector? Do you plug the barrel and cylinder? If so what do you use?
I am going to media blast it this weekend and parkerize it next week so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Plug the barrel and cylinder with hard wood plugs. You could repark the ejector rod and ejector itself, but it will take some use for enough of the park to wear off before they operates smoothly.

Personally, I'd look around for a professional to do the job.

I have been Parkerizing for 25 years, but now only for myself.
I don't park the ejector but I do the rod. when i find one with the finish completely gone I parkerize it. just make sure all springs are removed.
I started with a kit from Atlanta cutlery but now get my supplies from brownell's.
and yes do plug the cylinder hole and the barrel.

I bought the kit from Brownells. Is it best to leave all the bolts and pins in or do them separate? I have the gun totally disassembled. As to having a professional do it I have been rebluing guns for awhile but this will be my first parkerizing job. I guess it is the same as to any refinishing and that is metal prep and cleaning. I will use a media blaster and then clean in my ultrasonic cleaner with a degreaser. I will use gloves at that point.
I have some stainless steel containers and some baskets for the small stuff. I will heat to 195°. Do you also heat the cleaning water to the same temp? Thanks.
