I am ordering a VQ carbon fiber barrel for the Victory and wondering what comp you guys recommend

Hi BillyM Welcome to the Forum. One of the other guys will be along to advise you on this as we don't use them in Canada at all. As yet that is, maybe in the future but we don't hold our breath up here for things like this to happen.

I've got a Tandemkross on mine, because I can't afford a VQ. I think the VQ is better. Since you're getting a VQ barrel, top it with a VQ comp. Just my 2 cents worth.

I really like Tandemkross products, but if I were buying a Volquartsen barrel, I think I would be buying the Volquartsen compensator.

I would recommend wrapping the barrel in some lead tape, the kind used for weighting golf clubs. Because that's the primary value of a compensator in .22LR--a fancy barrel weight.

Hence, pick what you think looks good.

That is awesome. Lol funny thing I did that on a rifle. Well filled the fore end back in the early 90s when I was getting started in silhouette
