Hi There:

I am a Viet-Nam Sergeant from the 1968 TET who got sent to the DMZ for my last 8 months in Country.

I have an old Model 59 S&W and it is my favorite pistol.

I need to buy a couple of extra magazines for the silver pistol, which is my favorite pistol of all that I own.

It mat be obsolete but it is accurate as hell. Maybe because of the rifled Barrel.

Welcome aboard Sarge from Idaho. Glad you made it home in one piece. Spent my Vietnam vacation from March 1966 to April 1967. Caught one Tet. Model 59 is a dandy of a pistol. Carried one on the street in the mid 70's. My current CCW is a 659.
