Vietnam marks legendary general's 100th birthday

Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap just had his birthday. What a formidable enemy, and from what I read he stood up to his government when they got too cozy to with the Chinese.

I barely missed the Vietnam war, my high school opened in 1965 and some of the older students went to Vietnam after they graduated. Some of them did not come home.
