"View First Unread"

I have been wondering why the View First Unread notice disappears sometimes?
Finally figured it out!
If you have read everything in that thread to date, then that notice is not there, giving you a clue to move on to another thread.
Great feature, especially now that I know how it works, only took several years or so!
