I was thinking of selling these and was wondering what they are worth.

The .357 mag peters looks to be a full box. The other just has empty shells.

The .44 mag has some .44 mag ammo and a few .44 Spl. rounds.

Thanks.

That 44 magnum box would have to be one of the first, based on its design. I have not seen many 44 Magnum boxes from the 1950s. Nice!

Any idea of the value? I can't even find a similar box on the internet.

While the .44 box may have some interest because of the factory loads (apparently) it contains, it's condition keeps it from having much value. Same with the .357 box. The .357 ammunition in the box is reloaded, not factory, note the mould parting line across the noses of the bullets. MAYBE $15-20 for both of them.

Thanks for the info. I thought the .357 may be reloads. Looks like I'll just put them back in the cabinet.

Agree - not much of any desirability to a cartridge collector. But I am amazed at the prices some of the more common boxes from the 50s and 60s bring on eBay and the gun auction sites. I think that happens because some gun owner wants a period box to go with his gun for display purposes.
