Vintage Randall Carving Set, knife and fork only. I believe this set dates from the 1950s. Since the handle is pinned, it could not date past the mid 1960s:

The handles are, as can be seen, in beautiful, aged condition.
When I initially acquired the set I questioned whether it was matched because the handle rings do not appear to be identical. I later learned with research this was common at the time, as can be seen by looking closely at an early Randall catalog photo:

The knife is carbon steel and the fork is stainless. This, too, I learned was not unusual as many prefer carbon steel for sharpening and stainless for the fork for ease of maintenance.
The Randall marking on the blade is crisp:

While the knife has been used and sharpened — most recently by a professional Japanese sword and knife sharpener in Japan; it is razor sharp — it has been well maintained and not abused.
I bought an old piccolo case to keep the set in:

Yours for only $750, shipped and insured.
