I've found myself changing the grips of my shooter revolvers to VZ brand. They fit me better than other brands and are bulletproof in construction. My latest is their K/L round butt to square profile grips. They have pins on the inside and multiple place for those pins to assure perfect fit. Only possible complaint is the conversion grips with closed backstrap are heavier then wood grips but on my 586-5 it helps balance the full lug bbl.

Definitely gorgeous.

I used to have them on 1911s before I got rid of most.

On my big dogs(44 up to 500), I prefer rubber since I am more of a shooter.

Never tried them until I bought a Kimber 1911 last year with them mounted from the factory. Thought they might be a little abrasive under recoil, but I was wrong. They feel good in the hand, and the gun does not move around in your grip, at all. I am going to try a set on my S&W 69 and see how I like them on a revolver.

I am very fortunate in that VZ is located near my Tallahassee office. They are great folks to talk to and make a fantastic product. I always find something I need there.

I put them on a model 36 to carry. Tried 3 other grips and these fill my hand and fit better than everything I tried.

I also have them on a Colt 1911 Gold Cup. GTG.

A package from VZ came to the house addressed to my wife. I think I know what I got for Christmas & I'll see them on the 25th.......

I have several sets of VZ grips for 1911s and Smiths. Those for the 1911 fit great, but the the grips for the Smith seem to leave the back straps standing proud or vice versa. Just can't warm up to them. The only exception is a pair of blue/black cyclones on my 342Ti.

I went for a white VZ grip for my 28 ND and liked it so well I tried their smoother (320?) VZ round to sq on my 625. Very happy with both.

The 66-1 is wearing Altamonts with a Tyler grip adaptor. Very comfortable carry combination for me.
