I just joined this forum and am not sure if I'm the right area to ask this question, but does anyone know how long it takes to get a Model 627 from the Performance Center?

You wont' get one from there.
Sure, put it an order from your LGS. However, who knows how long the wait will be till the make another run of 627s, and then whether your distributor/LGS will be the ones to get one.
If you want one start looking at many sources. LGSs, online forums (both WTS and WTB ads), gun shows and pawn shops, too.
Put the word out. Time and luck you'll likely have one before you'll gt an order filled???

Picked one up last month - my local shop had 3 627's & 2 629's in stock when I got there. Had my heart set on the 327 but was about a week late.
Spoke to Smith before I went - the 327 = out of stock but they still had the 2.63 627's @ the factory.
