Shooting at Mount Dora Wal-Mart in parking lot on friday night. Shooter still at large. One in back one in leg.

Seems really strange that this happened three days ago, but the local media there in and around Mount Dora hasn't received any updates from law enforcement.
Like releasing the names and ages of the victims. Or giving out a possible description of the suspect. Or asking the victims if they know the shooter.
Then another report refers to "individuals" as the shooters, so they seem uncertain if there were one or two assailants.
I looked at the media there, and everything is "3 days ago".

Bad days for W-M. Yesterday here in San Antonio we had a tractor-trailer full of illegals found in a Wal Mart store parking lot off I-35. Estimates are that up to 200 illegals were packed into the trailer. Right now, 10 dead, 29 hospitalized in serious condition, and the rest scattered to the winds.

I'm by no means a fan of Wal Mart but still fail to see how this is a Wal Mart problem. (??)
How do we know if the media has or has not been updated by law enforcement and if they've asked victims about the shooters?

For whatever reason the media just loves to put "XXXX in Walmart Parking Lot", even if it has nothing to do with whatever XXXX is.
The only possible significance is that Walmart parking lots do seem to be convenient meeting/staging areas for all sorts of activity not related to Walmart. Maybe that's because they have large parking lots and lots of empty spaces on the outer fringes.
Some of the ones I've driven through look like RV parks.

At is used to be Wal-Mart encouraged travelers to sleep or rest in their well lit parking lots. I have on done this once. we caught a 3 hour nap from 11:00 to 02:00 at the flagship Bentonville, Arkansas store. About 2 dozen vehicles spread out over 7 or 8 acres. No shootings, no sirens, no hassles of any kind! (NO media either!)
