Eh, it's like a soap opera for men I suppose. What do you guys think of week two? My first thought... there were shells for the 120mm and what about the coax....?

Second thought, Comaman knows how to use that M9....

Could do without the relationship developement sub-plot. There is enough survival stuff to keep it interesting. I hope they get into some sort of zombie eradication on a large scale at some point.

I noticed immediately that the safety was on when the blonde had the S&W pointed at the main character, threatening to kill him. I thought it was another blatant mistake, but was glad that the cop told her about it later.

I also thought it would have been very cool if he had brought that machine gun on top of the tank into play! Was that a Ma Deuce? Too bad they didn't write that in.

I will continue watching. It was over way to soon tonight. That is a sign of a good series to me.

Thumbs up from me. My wife had been nodding off, woke right up when I turned it on. The only other show that was sure to keep her awake was 24.

I have to watch it on Hulu.com since I don't get AMC in my cable package so don't ruin it for me by giving out too many details!!!!! Hulu runs it's shows a few days after they were on normal TV. I loved the first episode!

The last thing on my mind in a situation like they are in is making whoopie in the woods. God knows what or who would walk up on you!

An M1 or Bradley is a pretty simple vehicle to run. If they had fuel I was just just plowing them over. With some coax gun to boot.

I love the special effects. Very well done.

In a situation like they are in I would have no time for the likes of the guy on the roof or his brother(seen in next weeks previews) Not to be cold but I would cap them both. They are out of control.

Wish we could get some folks from Atlanta to comment on the location of the shoot. Like most of these movies I take it they film it on Sunday's.

I like most of you can say this is one of the only shows in a long time that I actually wait to see.

Not as much action as the first one, but enough t' keep me lookin'.

It's kinda nice watching a zombie movie with a decent plot and character development.

Keep your powder dry,

What's with all the zombie talk in popular culture these days? I live abroad, but have noticed in the past few years that there has been a resurgence of interest in the US in zombies. Now a TV show about 'em?

Was there something in particular that set off the resurgence of interest?

What night does it come on...I live in Atlanta and want to see if I recognize anything...I understand its on AMC which I have but don't know what night and time...Thanks everybody...

Just evolution of the zeitgeist. In the '50s the big threat to The Way We Live was expressed through the Body Snatchers/pod people thing. We had vampires triumphant in the '80s and for the last decade or so we have seen the ascendancy of zombie terrorism. I think the whole concept got a big shot in the arm from the manic, high-speed zombies of 28 Days Later, then the comic/ironic tone of Shaun of the Dead elevated the whole zombie apocalypse thing to high cultural importance. The Walking Dead looks like it is trying to be the Gone with the Wind of zombie drama. (Cast of thousands! Destruction of the Old Ways! Atlanta!)

There is even a kind of retro-Zombie literary movement, with a best-selling parody of Jane Austen's 19th century novels of manners entitled Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

By the way, I'm hooked on the current series. Even if the series crashes and burns into classic overreaching dramatic television catastrophe by episode six, I'm in for the duration.

Watched it today. This show has the potential to run several seasons. Look how long "Prison Break" lasted and this one has a better plot. Speaking of "Prison Break", the scrawny gal at the trailer camp got her start on that one. I'm hooked.

It's already been renewed for a 13 episode 2nd season. Highest rated pilot in cable tv history.

They've been voting for years, now they want benefits...

Another Walking Dead fan in the house. :D I loved the idea of using a Challenger for their distraction. That was a lot easier on the constitution than when they used zombie guts... :p

Watching AMC has made want to check out their other series Breaking Bad. That one looks good also.

And network channels can take a back seat to cable. Seriously, The Walking Dead and Dexter have to be the best series on the air right now.
