walking dead

the m 4s i saw the owners had took a dirt nap, and im sure the had extra ammo, as far as driving the tank, couldnt be much harder than driving a bulldozer? and you could go any where in style and safe i dont see fuel as a problum to get its everywhere free for the taking!

That would be rough cleaning out those tracks and road wheels after running over a bakers dozen of zombies. Main gun would be useless unless you found a large group of them.

Iwas thinking if you got up enough speed all that stuff would come right on out of them tracks! you wouldnt need the big gun slow as they walk!

I think this show just might have the answer to the classic question "can't we all just get along?", at least if your a zombie, because all kinds of folks are just shuffling around with a common purpose. Sort of reminds me of the lyrics from "Love Train" and of the mindless "walking dead" voters from 2008.

So, did anyone else see the problem with Shane's plan? He had a good diversion to get IN, but failed to consider that tricky "gettin out" part.

I also can't figure out why they would leave Atlanta without availing themselves of new vehicles, plenty of supplies, lots of guns and arrows, medicine, etc. A city as big as Atlanta would definitely have all the supplies they need if they just scavenged a bit.

My understanding from last season was that Atlanta was so over run with walkers it was too dangerous to go foraging around.

I think one of the best lead vehicles would be a nice big Triaxle dump with one of those 'A' type snow plows, that will clear the roads, and give ample space to store provisions with out the zombies getting to it.
As for fuel, look and see how many big rigs are on the roads.

Anyone watch tonight's ep? I shouldn't be surprised, but I couldn't believe Shane did that. I do hope that they resolve the missing kid story line, that is getting old. Oh, and I loved the hanging zombie scene, that was creative.

Shane arguably did the right thing, or at least while a cold blooded thing to do... the necessary thing. Like the saying goes, don't have to be faster than the zombies, just have to be faster than the other guy... The fat guy seemed about done for anyway and they'd have shortly been overtaken. That simply would have gotten them both killed and would have gotten Carl killed for lack of the medical supplies.

Love the show. Some episodes are better than others. I thought tonight was very good! I don't like or trust Shane at all. What he did tonight sealed it for me. All he needed to do was tell the fat guy to give him the duffle bag so it would be easier for him to keep up, then out pace him. Result would have been the same.

The snippet from next weeks show that they showed on The Talking Dead later in the evening looked pretty good. You can bet I will be in front of the tube next Sunday night as well!

BTW, does anyone know what happened to the Zombie Survival Guide that I started sending around the country as a roving Karma? I saw it put up for a Karma about seven times, and then it stopped. Folks were supposed to write thier forum name and location (city or town and State) inside the cover and re-Karma it off to someone else.

If anyone knows where it is, this would be a great time to get it moving again.

I thought the last episode was very good, too. Shane is no boy scout, and he proved it with Otis.

I'm starting to like Norman Reedus' character more and more. I loved his story about getting lost and no one looking for him.

I thought Shane was an okay guy. He did try to rescue Rick from the hospital, took care of Rick's wife and son when it looked Rick was dead (kept them alive, safe etc), and stopped his relationship with Rick's wife once Rick showed back up. Since then he's mostly tried to keep the peace and did risk his life to help Carl. True he did have a fleeting though - apparently of shooting Rick, but since everyone else seems to be intermittently thinking of killing themselves, I'd let that pass... Arguably it might be healthier to be thinking about killing other people...

I saw it as Otis - the Fat Man - being dead either way. Thus Shane had to make a hard choice - they can both die and Carl can die, or Otis could die...

Did you guys miss "Zombie Apocalypse" on ScyFy? Ving Rhames was back fighting zombies.

Yeah that was nuts! The least he could have done was shoot him in the head. Who wants to die, getting eaten by zombies!
