Good for you. I have a DPMS AR picked up from somewhere. Have had it for several years and a couple thousand rounds now and it has been a great little carbine. I don't have any reservations about it. I'll bet you will get along fine with yours.

I've owned a couple DPMS rifles, and will put them up against just about anybody's gun in a similar price range, and that includes the S&W MP-15 I love dearly. Good solid guns!
