Interesting. Ours had some Winchester Super X's too. I bought 6 boxes of 50. My wife works about 50 miles west of here and she brought home 8 boxes of Super X's from the Wal-Mart over there. A bit pricier then the "good ol' days" though.

Went there today they were putting their new shipment of firearms out but no ammo so I bought a Chinese H&R Pardner for a beat around.

I have had my M&P 15-22 MOE for 4 weeks now and have not been able to find ammo anywhere..... So I have not been able to shoot it yet... I have 3 Walmarts all within 15 minutes from my house that I hit up everyday! The shelves have always been bare. Until today. On my last visit (The third Walmart) I found 20 - 100 round cases of CCI Mini Mags... I grabbed 5 and the sales guy asked me if I was going to take them all. I asked him what was the limit and he said you could buy all of them right now if you wanted. I said that wouldn't be nice! He told me the next guy would be taking the rest. That is what he sees every morning. So feeling guilty (just a little) I grabbed 2000 rounds of CCI mini mags and left with a smile.. Now I get to go shoot this thing and have fun tomorrow at the range! SCORE!!!!! I finally found ammo

Went to Dunhams today to catch the latest delivery. Got the only bulk pack, 1000 m-22 for $46. Rest of shipment was a few 50 rd boxes of federal and vipers.

Popped into my local Ganders tonight to see what was going on after the NewYorkistan tyrant...er um meant kindly governor...passed his NYSafe laws.
There were no AR type guns on display...all gone...there were only several 22LR types a few days ago, now gone. Don't know if taken off the shelf or sold...only one salesperson who was busy with a couple of customers.

There was a group of people huddled around the 22 shelves and not a lot left compared to a few days ago. One guy grabbed 2000 rounds of Stinger ammo. Another bought $250 worth of varied 22 rounds. I grabbed two boxes of Federal Target Grade 325 bulk for $20 per box...at least Gander hasn't jacked their prices...wife gave me $20 for one box...good wife hehehe.
It was a bit of madness.

I was asked my age...1955 and she still asks hehehe...like being carded...love it. She also asked me if it was for a hand gun or long gun...that was a first.

Things are going to get interesting in NewYorkistan...
