Walther PPK/S cocking problem

Not sure I am in the correct forum, but I have a Walther PPK/S-1 manufactured by Smith & Wesson and the initial double action trigger pull is EXTREMELY heavy.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be done to help lighten the pull some?

You ARE in the right forum and the double action trigger pull IS extremely heavy.
Tis the nature of the beast.

Thanks. I guess I will just have to learn to live with it. i.e. manually cock it, that is single action mode.
