Excellent striker fired gun with a nice trigger. The reset is sweet. It has excellent ergos. Fits lots of hands with the different backstraps.
I personally like the M1 model which is what I own because of the paddle mag release. Accurate enough for a combat handgun.
The build quality is what you would expect from a German pistol on par with HK IMHO. I prefer it to HKs but I have not shot the new VP9 yet.
I think it is one of the better polymers on the market.

The grip, trigger and line of sight of the barrel is excellent.
The only negative I have is the front sight is narrow, or the rear sight is wide, allowing for a little "daylight" between the sides of the front sight when on target.
I prefer the PPQ over the Browning High Power, CZ 75 and Beretta 92. Think of the PPQ like a Glock feeling trigger, and a better "everything else" over a Glock.

I've rented one at the local range a few times. The trigger is superb - definitely the best trigger on a striker fired gun, period. The grip shape is very ergonomic as well. My only complaint is the noticeably higher muzzle flip due to the higher bore axis compared to a Glock, H&K VP9, or Steyr M.
I have a PPQ M2 Navy. I like it far more than my G19 due to the grip feel.
I shot it side by side with a friends HK VP9. I thought the PPQ trigger was slightly better than the HK but not a deciding factor between the two. The HK has less muzzle flip by a small amount. I think the PPQ slide has more of a rounded profile and would conceal better. The PPQ has been out a while and I wouldn't expect any surprises. I think the HK will have some changes made in the future. I have only one complaint with my PPQ, it does not work with my suppressor. The slide does not close all the way when silenced. The operation is just not smooth enough. Other than that the PPQ is a winner. I have medium hands but I like the PPQ with the smallest backstrap.

Saw one today at a pawn shop. Feels real good. And the trigger IS awesome. And I did like the sights. For me the front sight seemed real easy to find.

Two summers ago I to dad (who is 82) to a LGS because he wanted a new conceal gun. He can't rack the slide due to lack of grip strength. Once the gun is loaded he is fine with it. He has carried a Colt 1903 Pocket model since the early 60's and can shoot it from the hip like Bill Jordan. When he passes in the next few years, I don't think anyone in the family will wish to keep it. but we will each keep one of his 1903's. Ivan
