Don't know if this thread will last very long.

Can you name them from left to right?

And how about some ammo pictures of your own.

looks like 45 ACP 357 maximum 357 magnum 44 magnum 40 S&W 9MM will guess 32 auto .. little feller at the end .. some flavor of 25 rimfire

.45acp,.357max, .35mag, .44mag, .40s&w, 9mm, .25auto, .22short

It's fun on this end, but I don't think I would bat 1.000 if someone else posted this.

6 are in brass case, 2 are in nickel plated brass, and each one them will fit in the appropriate firearm they were designed to fit. Each one is different for the others there for unique and rare. I have not seen many cartridges lately to compare them with.

First let me look at the bottom of these things to make sure I have it right.

.45 ACP/.357 Mag/.38 SPL+P/.44 SPL/.380/.32/.25/.22 short

The .22 is a oldie from the 30's or 40s I think.

This should make the identification a little tougher. What's the caliber and what is each individual round?

I would guess that they are all 30-06. The one on the left is likely a blank for ceremonial purposes. The colour coding on the others probably indicates tracer, AP, incendiary or combinations of same. I'm also guessing that one of them is an M1 cartridge with the heavy bullet, and another plain one is an M2.

No, I cannot put them in order.;)

Pretty good there Alpo. ;) You are 7 for 8. The next to the last one is not a .41mag but a .44spl WC

That appears to be, from right to left (if you want 'em from left to right, put the little one on the left) :p

I thought about the special, from the height, but it looked closer in diameter to the 40 than to the 45, so figgerred 41 instead of 44.

RATS!
I saw the heading and got my stick out
and packed for a quick drive to MASS

Still need some skates and pads though.
Not much ice around here :( so don't have any on hand.

The knowledge of this group never fails to amaze me, from guns to ammo to bbq to broccoli! And of course dogs. I doubt I got 4 out of 7 right.
