Warranty question....

I apologize in advance for what is probably a dumb question...I own the standard model as that is all that was available when i purchased it...I have a machinist who will thread the barrel for a flash hider (he has done several around my area), but I cannot find my warranty paper, and am typing this on my phone which will not load the main s&w website. My question is will my threading the barrel affect the warranty on the rifle? Since it is a modification to it?

Of course not. This does not affect function at all. Mine was warranty-repaired with a non-factory muzzle device and I never even thought about this being a question until just now.
