I wouldn't think of holding it against you. If anything you have my sympathy. I lived in the People's Republic of Puget Sound for 29 years myself. I was only able to escape a little over 6 years ago.

Hello! from outside Missoula Montana.
We lived in NW WA for 45+ years.
The wife and I were able to get out about 3 years ago.
Great place to grow up, and wouldn't trade that time for anything.
But a lot changed in in that time.
We're not missing any of it, not looking back, and have no plans to visit.

Love Montana! Don’t know how it used to be here long ago. But it sure is changing fast from what I can remember being young. I think many are waking up. Hopefully!
